Wecora allows flexibility when sharing library projects and boards. You decide what role those you're sharing with will be granted - a viewer or an editor. What's the difference?

The easiest way to understand the difference is this:

With a viewer, you can set permissions on what they can view.

With an editor, they see everything!

But we get it...you'll probably have a few more questions, so here you go!

VIEWERS

A "viewer" role is exactly what it sounds like; the person you're inviting can simply see what's being shared, but they are unable to make any adjustments. They also can only see what details you opt to share (price, description, source, etc).

Viewers can....

  • view all items in the library related to that project

  • view all boards within a shared project.

  • see each item on the board

  • read and post comments

Viewers cannot...

  • edit board items or the board itself in any way.

Viewer permissions can be adjusted at any time by going to the SHARE icon, then VIEW PERMISSIONS.

EDITORS

The "editor" role allows those you're sharing with the join in the creative process.

Editors can do all that viewers can, but can also...

  • modify item details such as price, description, etc.

  • delete items on boards

  • add to boards and projects

  • read and post comments

Editors cannot...

  • Delete boards
