How to create, rearrange, and use groups on boards

Groups help to organize and give structure to Wecora boards. If I'm doing a "Kitchen" (board) for the Smiths (project), then I may create groups that look something like this....

  • Project Ideas

  • Faucet Options

  • Countertops

  • Sink Options

  • Hardware - etc., etc., etc.

You can create as many groups as you'd like (scroll to the bottom of the board and click ADD NEW GROUP) and click the name to rename them at any time.

Need to move board items to a different group? Easy! Just click the three dots above the item, then MOVE TO, and select the group you'd like to move the item to.

Want to move items around within the same group? No problem. Click and drag the header of the item.

If you're utilizing groups to the fullest, there's really no need for questions like "Where was this fabric being used?". If it's tucked nicely inside of the CUSTOM WINDOW TREATMENT FABRICS group, then everyone immediately is aware.

And guess where else groups are utilized? Budgeting! Each board it totaled but also each GROUP is auto-totaled as well, so you can quickly see how much you are "all-in" on the custom sofa group (that has the sofa, upgraded options, delivery items, etc). To see the board budgeted, go to VIEW>LIST VIEW.

We hope this helps to communicate how POWERFUL groups really can be when utilized fully!
