Welcome to Wecora! This guide will get you productive in under 5 minutes. Follow along step-by-step to set up your account and create your first project
Your Quick Start Checklist
First 2 minutes:
Install Wecora Capture (Chrome extension) - clip web content directly to your library
Great! Now that Capture is installed, be sure you know how to use it.
Next 3 minutes:
Sync your phone to Wecora so you can text images straight to your library. Snap a photo and text it to your Wecora number. Whether it's a whiteboard sketch, an item you love at market, a document, a "before pic" or inspiration you spotted on the street, it's instantly in your library and ready to use.
Once your phone has been authenticated, go ahead and text a picture to that Wecora number you just received a confirmation text from (be sure to store this number in your contacts as something like "Wecora Library"). Go ahead...try it out now!
Great! Now head over to your account dashboard if you aren't there already (click the Wecora logo in the top left to get there at any time). The image you texted should be displayed under RECENT FILES?
You see it? Awesome! Now click on it...see how it was auto-named?
Go ahead and click on the meta-data field...this is AI in action!!!!
This image is now easy for you to find when you need it later on, and with NO work on your behalf. This is the power of the Wecora library!
Ready to create your first project?
Don't overthink this step. From your dashboard:
Click "ADD"
Select "NEW PROJECT"
Enter a descriptive project name (examples: "Wilson Residence", "Gala Event", "New Site Design")
Pro tip: Use client names or project types that will make sense to you months later.
Upload any relevant files to your project—contracts, videos, images, or documents. Store everything you need now or might need later in one organized place.
Ready to organize your ideas visually? Here's how:
From the dashboard, click "CREATE"
Select "IDEA BOARD"
Name your board by area of focus (examples: "Kitchen", "Living Room", "Brand Colors")
Important: Most users create 8-10 boards per project. Think of boards as different categories or rooms rather than trying to fit everything into one board.

Pro tips:
The search function in your dashboard or the library option on your board dock finds everything. Use it instead of hunting through menus.
Wecora loves right-click! If you can't figure out how to do something, try right-clicking. 99% of the time...it will solve your problem.
